<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for generation of display data by accumulating advanced read texts in a reception buffer in the ascending order or the descending order at the time of the forward change or the backward change of the picture operation. CONSTITUTION:An advanced read means 64 sets the number of the text in a reception buffer 71, with which the request is started, and the request direction and requests a host part 8 to read one-picture components of texts through a host-terminal communication means 7. A host control means 82 gives an indication to a forward text transmission means 83 in accordance with the request direction set by the advanced read means 64 on the terminal side in the case of the forward direction and refers to texts in the ascending order from a host text storage area 81 based on the request start text to transmit them. In the case of the backward direction, the means 82 gives an indication to a backward text transmission means 84 and refers to texts from the host text storage area 81 in the descending order based on the request start text to transmit them. Thus, the time required for generation of display data is shortened.</p> |
