<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the rust and fault of parts from being generated by forming a partition plate in the casing of an outdoor unit into a dishlike configuration, providing the bottom of the casing with a drain hole, connecting the drain hole to a drain pipe and discharging water accumulated in the partition plate out of the casing. CONSTITUTION:A fuel such as petroleum or a gas is mixed with air blown by a combustion air blower 4 and burnt in a burner unit 3. The combustion air is fed to a refrigerant heater 2 and a heat exchange is conducted with a refrigerant. The air after a combustion is exhausted outside a casing from an exhaust port 5. When a heating operation is performed, since a temperature in a heat exchange chamber 6 is raised and a temperature outside the casing 1 is low, a dewing is generated on the inner wall of the casing 1 to become a water droplet, falling on the partition plate 14. The water droplet that falls on the partition plate 14 flows in a drain passage 14b to be introduced to a drain hole 14c in the deepest portion of the partition plate 14 and further falls into a drainage pipe 15 to be discharged out of the casing 1. That is, the water droplet falling on the partition plate 14 is quickly and surely discharged out of the casing 1 without penetrating into a machine chamber 7.</p> |
