PURPOSE:To obtain the title enzyme-containing substance capable of maintaining a water content in a reaction system at a required amount, having high reaction efficiency and ready handleability and repeatedly usable, comprising a pasty material consisting essentially of lipase, water and hydrophobic organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:(A) 1 pt.wt. lipase is blended with (B) 2-5 pts.wt. water and (C) 15-20 pts.wt. hydrophobic organic solvent to form a pasty material, form which a solution is removed and preferably the prepared enzyme-containing material is attached to nonwoven fabric to give the objective enzyme. For example, lipase derived from Candida-based enzyme is used as the component A, an ether, etc., as the component C and a phosphoric acid buffer having pH7.5-8 is used as the component B. |
