PURPOSE:To obtain an image good in discriminability by forming a layer comprising at least photosensitive silver halide, a binder, a bye donor, and a specified compound on a support. CONSTITUTION:The layer formed on the support comprises the photosensitive silver halide, the binder, the dye donor, and the compound represented by formula I in which X is a group releasable at the time of heat development, such as acyl, alkyxycarbonyl, or the like; Y is an atomic group necessary to form a 5- or 6-membered hetero ring; Z is an optionally substituted <= 13 C organic group, or halogen, or OH, or the like; and (n) is an integer of 0 - 4, thus permitting an image good in discriminability to be obntained.
