PURPOSE:To form a recorded image using the subject recording paper which is highly sensitive and produces a sharp color image free from ink run and fogs by adding a sensitizer having a specific melting point (A) and a sensitizer having a specific melting point (B) at a specific addition amount(solid weight) ratio to a thermally coloring layer. CONSTITUTION:A support is formed on at least, one surface, and a thermally coloring layer contains a colorless or pale coloring dye and a color developer which develops a color through thermal reaction with the dye. The thermally coloring layer contains a low melting-point sensitizing having a melting point of 90 deg.C or lower (A) and a high melting-point sensitizer having a melting point of 100 deg.C or higher (B) at an addition amount(solid weight) ratio of 80:20 to 30:70. The low melting-point sensitizer having a melting point of 90 deg.C or lower (A) is dibenzyl oxalate at 80 deg.C, and the high melting-point sensitizer having a melting point of 100 deg.C or higher (B) is diphenacyl thiodipropylate at 106 deg.C. The mixture of the low and high melting-point sensitizers at a solid weight ratio of 80:20 to 30:70 is highly sensitive and produces a sharp recorded image without ink run or fogs. The support is generally high quality paper. |
