PURPOSE:To perform fine laser beam drilling with high accuracy on complicated solid form resin-based material parts by setting the focus position of a laser beam on the surface of a workpiece to irradiate it and then, moving the focus position to perform drilling work. CONSTITUTION:As a first step, the focus position of the laser beam 2 is set on the surface of the workpiece 1 to irradiate it and then, as a second step, the focus position is moved by the preset moving quantity upward with respect to the surface of the workpiece 1 so that drilling work of specified dimensions can be performed. By this method, fine drilling work with high accuracy can be performed on not only a plate but also the complicated parts. |
