PURPOSE:To make a length of time required to finish change of paper speed difference constant at every part by constituting a device so as to select a computed value of either a first computing device of a paper speed difference changing rate or a second computing device of a paper speed difference changing rate in accordance with a result decided by means of a changing rate deciding device. CONSTITUTION:A first computing device 12 of a paper speed difference changing rate computes a paper speed difference changing rate at every part. When it is found through judgement by a decision means 13 that this computed value does not exceed a certain maximum changing rate, change of paper speed difference is executed in every part on the basis of this computed value. On the other hand, if the computed value exceeds the maximum changing rate, the maximum value among set values of paper speed difference in the respective parts is compared by a comparator 14. Next, on the basis of this maximum set value of paper speed difference and the maximum changing rate, changing time of paper speed difference is newly computed. Then, changing rates of paper speed differences in the respective parts are newly computed through a second computing device 16 of a paper speed difference changing rate in accordance with the computed value of changing time of paper speed difference and the respective set values of paper speed differences in every part. Then, change of paper speed difference is executed on the basis of this newly computed changing rate of paper speed difference in every part. |
