In a device for assembling flat webs, for example webs of paper, in order to form so-called multiple sheet stationery in either continuous packs or as cut forms, a folding station or transverse cutting station is mounted upstream in the direction of transport of the webs, which are assembled and glued longitudinally or transversely.
