The push-button switch has a housing with a lamp (20,21) in a rubber elastic socket (22). The housing (10) has two contact tongues (41) and two lead wires (32) for the lamp, each clamped between a contact tongue and the socket. The latter and the contact tongues are surrounded by a plastics frame (42). Pref. the socket wall section, opposite a contact tongue, pref. extends angularly to the plane of the contact tongue in relief state. The plastics frame may have a bottom at the rear side of the socket with apertures (48) for the contact tongues. The frame and socket may be locked together. The arresters (43,44) may be located in the lateral walls (33,34) of the socket. ADVANTAGE - Relaible contacting over entire service life.
