The roll grizzly has a frame, discharge and underflow system. It uses rollers driven one way off a drive and roller-fitted screening discs at preset spacing to form the sizing openings. Lifters (8) at every second roller (5) should reach up into the sizing opening (6) between the discs (7) and between the lifter-fitted roller and the following roller the discs (7) are bridged over by a cover plate (9) which has entry holes for the lifters.
