<p>A composition and method for treating textiles in particular wool and nylon carpets to provide stain resist properties, improved twist retention and wearability is provided. The composition includes a textile binding agent which forms a chemical bond with the outer layer of the textile and a barrier agent which forms a chemical bond with the binding agent and which increases the surface tension of the textile.</p> |
