<p>A sugar solution is purified by a process for purifying a sugar solution using a cation exchange resin and an anion exchange resin, which comprises contacting a sugar solution with a decolorization resin to remove color bodies and weakly acidic substances prior to the decationization by the cation exchange resin. The present invention is preferably used for purifying a solution of corn syrup, cane sugar, sorbitol, sucrose, dextrose or the like.</p> |
