<p>This invention relates to a seal ring for a sleeve joint, which besides sealing also locks the sleeve (3) and an insert end (4) together in the longitudinal direction of the pipes. An axial locking is needed especially in connection with pressure pipes. The locking effect of the seal ring (6) can be improved by making the ring at least partially of a material (8) expanding when coming into contact with a liquid.</p> |
