<p>Glass ceramic articles of a defined shape, particularly thin products and products with sharp corners, are made by forming the shape of the desired article from a mixture of powdered glass particles and binder, and then heating the shaped mixture at the liquidus temperature of the glass of the glass particles for a time sufficient for the glass particles to crystallise across the boundaries of contacting glass particles.</p> |
