<p>PURPOSE:To allocate the line capacity in a fine unit while eliminating the waste of the transmission capacity by specifying the capacity of each line group with a cell number transferred within a prescribed period and warranting the quality at every line group and varying the setting of the transfer cell number in the period to change the capacity of each line group. CONSTITUTION:A switching processor 1 at a transmission side controls a burst cell traffic from a terminal equipment 6 at every line group to send the result to a line capacity assigning device 2, which sends a received cell to a transmission line so as to warrant the capacity assigned at every line. In this case, the capacity of each line group 4 is specified by the cell number transferred in the predetermined period to warrant the quality at every line group 4 definitely and the capacity of each line group 4 is changed by varying the setting of the transfer cell number in the period. Thus, the quality in ensured by the switching processor 1 and the line capacity assigning device 2 specifies the capacity of each line group 4 with the transfer cell number in the period to change the capacity in a fine unit.</p> |
