AUDIO OUTPUT DEVICE FOR HIGH VISION RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To obtain a High Vision receiver with excellent operability by devising the output device such that a raw PCM 4-channel audio signal at an audio output terminal of a High Vision receiver and an audio signal supplied optimizingly to a speaker in response to the audio system are selectively outputted. CONSTITUTION:A PCM 4-channel audio signal obtained from a MUSE decoder passes through an audio selector 117 and selected so as to be connected to an optimum speaker, power amplified at a power amplifier 123 and outputted from audio output terminals 118-122. When an external device is connected to an audio control signal output terminal 130, a 2nd audio selector 132 is selected and a raw PCM 4-channel audio signal not through the audio selector 117 is outputted to audio output terminals 133-136. The signal is selected by the audio selector 143 so as to be connected to an optimum speaker.
