The present invention relates to a self-propelled elevator/excavator. It broadens the field of application for arm-type elevators/loaders, allowing them to be used also as excavators. A frame 1 mounted on wheels 2 has, pivotably mounted on it, about a vertical axis, a platform 3 which supports, in addition to a cab, an operating arm 4 which can be lengthened telescopically. Said arm is pivotably mounted, at its bottom end, on the platform 3 about a horizontal axis and has, pivotably mounted on the end of its last segment 42 by means of a pivot pin 6, a second arm 5 which can be lengthened telescopically. The end of the segment 52 has, attached to it, a rapid-coupling member 7 which allows the firm engagement of various types of tools such as fork assemblies, shovels as well as an excavator arm 14 equipped with a bucket or scoop 15. <IMAGE> |
