PURPOSE:To improve the safety by forming an electric roll heater with a self temperature control type surface heating element having the flexibility and a power source supplying and housing part for supplying the power source to the surface heating element and winding it up. CONSTITUTION:An electric roll heater consists of a self temperature control type surface heating element 3 having the flexibility and a power source supplying and housing part 4 for supplying the power source to the surface heating element 3 and winding it up for housing. The temperature of the surface heating element 3 can be maintained constantly by a temperature controller 10, whether large or small of the takeoff quantity of the surface heating element 3 from the power source supplying and housing part 4. Since the surface heating element 3 has the self temperature control characteristic, it is safe even if hot insulation is performed locally and the heating quantity can be controlled with large or small of takeoff quantity of the heating element 3. The feature of the self temperature control type surface heating element 3 possible to be used in piled condition can be shown at maximum, and the safety is improved. |
