In an endless track vehicle, each track is driven by a pneumatic tyred wheel comprising a rim 11 carrying a tyre and secured to a powerdriven hub 23 by circumferentially-spaced bolts 20 each engaging a lug 12 fixed to the rim and damping a sleeve 9 bonded to a natural or synthetic rubber bush 18 housed in a cylinder 16 secured to the hub. Relative movement between hub and rim is limited in the radial direction by the clearance between cylinder 16 and face 14 of lug 12, and in the transverse direction by the lug 12 and a collar 21 on sleeve 9. The bushes impart a torsional resilience between hub and rim. |
