A barrier (1) formed from a hollow profile, which is provided on both sides with an end piece at its ends, at least one of which serves to fix the barrier (1) in the ground, in which the end pieces are provided with a connecting tube (5) which extends beyond the connection surface and serves as a coupler, whose outer contour matches the inner contour of an opening formed inside the barrier (1). The end pieces are provided with a connection piece which matches the profile of the barrier (1), in which a connecting tube (5) which extends outwards beyond the profile opening and which serves as a coupler is held. The barrier (1) and the connection pieces are formed from a polygonal hollow profile with convexly curved edge areas (16) and concavely curved surface areas (8), whereby the surface areas exhibit longitudinal beads (9) to fix reflective strips. To create a kerbstone edge boundary the end pieces are formed on both sides by a sealing cap which exhibits an end flange, the end flange of which exhibits a transverse drill hole to take a fixing screw. To create bollards, the end pieces are formed by a foot or socket part on the one hand and a top piece on the other hand, which are fixed to the barrier (1) by welding, gluing or screwing into the coupler (5) held in the socket or top part. <IMAGE> |
