The invention relates to an arrangement for a laser diode with a drive circuit connected, which is positioned in the form of a chip with a heat sink in front of a fixed light guide fibre within a u-shaped cooler profile and is held by mechanical pressure of a leaf spring in such a manner that it permits a reproducible adjustment by means of X-Y displacement gripping tongues and is subsequently fixed by laser point welding or laser soldering.
