PURPOSE:To surely send the copy data to an integrated controller from a terminal equipment by connecting a transmission means to a telephone circuit after a prescribed waiting time if a telephone is busy when the prescribed conditions are satisfied for transmission of data. CONSTITUTION:A control system is provided with a terminal equipment which transmits the data on the information on the number of copy sheets and the maintenance request of a copying machine, etc., to an integrated controller via a telephone circuit 4. An on-line controller 30 usually connects a telephone 40 to the circuit 4 and performs a circuit connection process when a call is received from a center controller 50 or a call is sent from the controller 30 at the communication of data carried out to the controller 50. If the telephone 40 is busy when the data are sent to the controller 50, the using condition of the telephone 40 is confirmed after five minutes. Then the data are sent to the controller 50 when the telephone 40 is not busy. Thus the copy data can be surely sent to the integrated controller from the terminal equipment. |
