PURPOSE:To perform maintenance for the occurrence of trouble due to card jam by opening a cover body to take out a magnetic card jamming in a carrying path after pulling out a drawer mechanism. CONSTITUTION:An outer box 10 installed in a taxi has only the front opened and is firmly fixed to a part of the car body like a dashboard. A drawer mechanism 11 can be pulled out to the front from the outer box 10, and this mechanism 11 is led out to expose a card reader 15 to the outside at the time of the occurrence of trouble like card jam. Since the carrying path in the card reader 15 is opened by opening the cover body, the magnetic card jamming in the carrying path is easily taken out to the outside. Thus, trouble due to card jam is immediately recovered even during driving of the taxi, and adjustment using the magnetic card is continued to resolve the inconvenience to fares. |
