PURPOSE:To enable bleaching providing a bleached fiber soft and excellent in whiteness degree within a short time by immersing a cellulose-based fiber in a chlorite solution, subsequently steaming the fiber in a specified condition, then immersing the fiber in an aqueous hydroperoxide solution and subsequently steaming the fiber in a specified condition. CONSTITUTION:A cellulose-based fiber fabric excellent in softness and whiteness degree is obtained within a short time using a continuous padding-steaming process where a cellulose-based fiber is padded using a chlorite solution, steamed at 90-100 deg.C for 10-30min., subsequently padded using an aqueous hydroperoxide solution and steamed at 40-70 deg.C for 1-10min. The obtained bleached fabric is suitable for underwears. |
