PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the quality and workability of the sheet molding compound(SMC) concerned by a method wherein a container, in which SMC is housed, is covered with a sheet, which has resistance to solvent and along the periphery of which weights are provided. CONSTITUTION:A container 6, in which SMC 1 is housed, is covered with a sheet 8, which has resistance to solvent and at four sides of which weights 7 are provided. Accordingly, no solvent flies and consequently the hardness of SMC is held properly. Further, no rain water and the like enters in the container 6 at the handling of freight by a truck or the like. Thus, no impairment of the quality of SMC occurs. Furthermore, no impairment of the quality of SMC occurs by the direct striking of of sunlight against SMC during the transportation and storage. And, since the sheet is light in weight, its packaging operation can be performed easily and the sheet does not get out of place during the transportation by a truck or the like. |
