PURPOSE:To discriminate the position of the moving body with high accuracy by sending a signal containing a code characteristic to a transmitter from the transmitter, receiving it by the moving body and comparing the code with data specifying an area. CONSTITUTION:When there is a receiver 4 in a position block B11, the signal where sent signals A3 and A4 are superposed or added is obtained and when there is the receiver in a position block B9, a received signal is obtained while signals A2, A3 and A4 are superposed one over another. A code extracting circuit 14 extracts code parts repeated in those signals line 24. The circuit 16 reads data out of a map information storage circuit 18 and compares it with the extraction signal. The position block which includes the transmitter 4 is specified with the data from the circuit 18 and position block data is outputted to a position information output terminal 30 through a signal line 28. |
