PURPOSE:To obtain gas for measurement which is close to the composition of practical exhaust gas by an inexpensive method by burning the gases different in air/fuel ratio by two combustion equipments and utilizing the obtained gaseous mixture as the gas for measurement. CONSTITUTION:Main fuel is supplied to gas burners 20, 22 from the main gaseous fuel feeders 24, 26 and burned by supplying air to the gas burners 20, 22 form the main air feeders 28, 30. Excess air ratio is preset so that the excess air ratio in the gas burner 20 is regulated to - lambda and the excess air ratio in the gas burner 22 is regulated to lambda. Both gas-enriched exhaust gas obtained from the gas burner 20 and gas-lean exhaust gas obtained from the gas burner 22 are changed over by turning on/off the solenoid valves 32, 40, 34, 42. These exhaust gasses are introduced into an oxygen sensor 56. This oxygen sensor 56 is calibrated by performing measurement. |
