<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the number of times of a scan per one scan cycle, to save the power consumption, and also, to improve the scanning efficiency and the operation convenience by scanning selectively only a line having necessity. CONSTITUTION:As for the signal line, ten pieces each exist in both the line direction and the row direction, and as for a touch key (b) provided by one piece each between these respective signal lines, total 100 pieces exist. In this state, a display control means (c) allocates and displays a character, etc., only to the touch key (b) corresponding to even lines and even rows by considering the operability of the touch key (b). In this case, even if the signal lines of odd lines and odd rows are brought to scanning, there is no workability, therefore, a scanning control means (d) outputs successively a scanning signal of, for instance, an 'H' level and executes scanning only to five pieces of signal lines of even lines or even rows related to the touch key (b) to which a character, etc., are allocated and displayed, without scanning all of ten pieces of signal lines of odd lines or odd rows. In such a way, only the line having necessity can be brought to scanning selectively.</p> |
