The invention relates to a propeller device with nozzle, which propeller device comprises an annular propeller nozzle 12, within which a propeller 14 has been disposed which is driven by a propeller shaft. Disposed in front of the propeller 14, which has been arranged to rotate within the propeller nozzle 12, there is a front piece 16, which has been provided with blades 17 or equivalent projections and which acts as an ice breaker, which front piece has been arranged to rotate on the same rotational axis S-S as the propeller 14.
