PURPOSE:To provide a labeller which enables highly accurate printing of a bar code optically readable on a recording medium such as label on the counter by attaching ink onto the same printing plate surface with a plurality of ink rollers retained in a retaining member. CONSTITUTION:Rectangular openings 17 are each formed on both side plates 15 of the body of a hand labeller and the upper end of an L-shaped arm 20 is pivoted above the opening 17 of one side plate 15. Two ink rollers 19 and 19 are mounted rotatably at the lower end of the arm 20 and with the lowering of a printer 11, ink is applied twice on the printing surface selected of a bar code printing plate 21, while moving it to the right whereby it is attached evenly to the surface. With the lifting of the printer 11, the ink rollers 19 and 19 are returned elastically to the original position under the resilience of a spring 20a. |
