<p>The poultry-fattening method is particularly for broiler chickens which are accommodated on a floor over which a layer of material is scattered. This material (6) is at least intermittently ventilated by generating a current of air through it from the space underneath (8). The latter can be supplied with fresh or conditioned air and wood shavings, short-chopped straw or similar material can be used, supported by an air-permeable floor (7).</p> |
