When the opening/closing control of solenoid valves 153 and 154, i.e., the operation of the clutch, is continuously stopped for the preset interval or longer, the width of the first pulse in pulse signals Pa and Pb for the following clutch operation is expanded, the change of the fluid pressure for a unit time is increased only at this time, and the response delay of the actuator 15 caused by the initial volume change is improved.
