PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having flexibility and high tearing strength and useful for waterproof sheet, rubber-lined cloth, automobile parts, various industrial parts, etc., by using an olefinic elastomer and a modified ethylene copolymer at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) 75-95wt.% of a polyolefin elastomer (preferably an ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer rubber, isobutylene-isoprene copolymer rubber or acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber) and (B) 5-25wt.% of a modified ethylene copolymer composed of preferably 65-95wt.% of ethylene, preferably 3-34wt.% of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester (preferably ethyl acrylate, n-butyl acrylate or methyl methacrylate) and preferably 1-5wt.% of maleic anhydride. |
