NUMERICAL-SETTING UP ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR ECHO-GRAPHS DISPLAYS

The invention concerns a numerical-setting up electronic device for echographs displays. In accordance with this invention, the device is designed to operate concurrently with an echograph and provide digital display of depth and connection to a data automatic processing system. The device receives signals from the emission vibrator and the electronic amplifier of the echograph and, through appropriate processing of these signals, generates control signals that apply to a decade counter and a register, which stores the measured value. The device also contains an oscillator controlled by a quartz crystal, which supplies a fixed frequency conveniently divided and applied. The information entered in the decade counter is decoded and displayed on a screen. This information is made available through a coupler to be transferred to an automatic processing data system.
