<p>PURPOSE:To reduce travel time of a stacker crane and to improve loading efficiency by detecting a present position of the stacker crane and a type of a load with a sensor, acquiring a loading shelf position for a storage/shipment position of the stacker crane based on a detection signal, and by controlling the stacker crane. CONSTITUTION:For example, when storage, shipment, etc., from a storage/ shipment position A for a load and a pallet to a three-dimensional warehouse is carried out by a stacker crane 2, a present position of the stacker crane 2 and a type of the carried load is detected by each of sensors of a sequencer 3 and sent to a personal computer 6 through an optical modem 6'. The personal computer 6 calculates a loading shelf position for the storage/shipment position A of the stacker 2 from this detection data and puts in a control signal to the sequencer 3. The sequencer 3 controls ths stacker crane 2 by this signal.</p> |
