PURPOSE:To obtain the desired power transfer performance and reduce a shift shock by prohibiting the shift of a continuous transfer path until the switching from a stepped transfer path to the continuous transfer path is completed, and holding the shift ratio of the continuous transfer path in a preset state. CONSTITUTION:The shift ratio of a continuous transfer path B is fixed at the preset shift ratio while a vehicle is running with the stepped transfer path A, and the shift is prohibited by a shift prohibiting means C until the switching of the transfer path is completed. When the switching of the transfer path is completed D, the shift of the continuous transfer path B is started. If the stepped transfer path A has a shift ratio larger than the maximum shift ratio of the continuous transfer path B, for example, the continuous transfer path B is kept at the maximum shift ratio while the switching from the stepped transfer path A to the continuous transfer path B is performed, and the running at the maximum shift ratio is allowed when the switching of the transfer path is completed D. The desired power performance is obtained, and the occurrence of a shift shock can be reduced. |
