An anchoring element 10 is intended to be used for anchoring adjoining ends of a pair of successive, essentially vertical column elements 50, 52, preferably made of steel, in a building structure. A preferred embodiment of the anchoring element 10 comprises a steel plate 12 on whose opposite sides there are arranged tubular pieces 16, 18 for receiving the facing ends of the column elements 52, 50. The anchoring element 10 is placed on the upper end of the lower column element 50 which projects through an opening 56 in a floor shuttering 54. The anchoring element 10 is then cast in a beam with the opening of the upper tubular piece 16 exposed at the top surface of the beam for the purpose of receiving the upper column element 52. <IMAGE> |
