PURPOSE:To limit the service area in a room by providing a light emitting section sending a signal from a trunk line or a master set in an optical signal and a light receiving section receiving and demodulating the signal to the trunk line or the master set to a telephone set main body, and providing a light emitting section and a light receiving section corresponding to those provided to the telephone set main body also to a handset. CONSTITUTION:A fixed station unit 10 is integrated with a let light emitting section and a 2nd light emitting section and a 1st light receiving section and a 2nd light receiving section are integrated to a mobile station unit 11. The 1st light emitting section converts a signal of a receiver connection terminal of a telephone set main body 11 into an optical signal 17. The 1st light receiving section demodulates the optical signal 17 from a light emitting diode 21 of the fixed station unit 10 and applies the result to a receiver 5 of a handset 4. The 2nd light receiving section of the fixed station unit 10 demodulates an optical signal 27 from a light emitting diode of the mobile station unit 11 and applies it to the telephone set main body 1.
