PURPOSE:To facilitate the attaching/detaching of a small punch test piece and to prevent dislocation of the test piece even by means of a rotation force generated during mirror surface puff polishing by a method wherein a sheet having thickness lower than that of the small punch test piece and a square hole in which the small punch test piece is contained is mounted on the one end surface of a rodform magnet. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 3 having thickness lower than that of a small punch test piece 6 and a square hole in which the test piece 6 is contained is mounted on the one end surface of a rodform magnet 1. Thereby, when the test piece 6 is placed in the square hole, the test piece 6 is securely attracted to the rodform magnet 1. In this case, the outer side of the rodform magnet 1 is adhered to a non-magnetic ring 2, and through vertical movement of the non-magnetic ring 2 within a guide ring 4, height is regulated according to the thickness of the small punch test piece 6 to secure the test piece by means of a securing screw 5, and the small punch test piece 6 is supported at a given height. With this state, a small punch test piece mirror surface support jig 8 is held by a hand and pressed against a puff polishing machine 7 to apply mirror surface polishing on the small punch test piece 6. |
