PURPOSE:To hold or release and drop an extension pin only by control of the air and to facilitate operations for holding and recovering an extension pin by forming a structure for holding the pin at an air injection port. CONSTITUTION:Extension pins 3 are connected to the leads 1b of an electronic component 1, and inserted to holes 7a of a printed board 7 while guiding the leads by the pins. In this case, pressure air is injected from below to an air injection port 8a which is provided at a clinch 8 under the board so that the pin can be inserted and passed, thereby holding the component between the ramrod 6 at the upper side of the component 1 and the pin 3. After the leads are inserted in the holes of the board, injection of the pressure air to the air injection port is interrupted or the air is sucked by negative pressure to pass the pins through the holes 8a to be recovered downward. |
