The present invention relates to a rear-entry alpine ski boot including an upper (2) made in two parts, namely a front cuff (2a) and a rear cover piece (2b), and a support (4) articulated on the lower shell (1) about a horizontal and transverse axis (pin) of articulation (5). This boot is characterised in that the articulation about a transverse axis (pin) (3), between the rear cover piece (2b) and the support (4), consists of a cylindrical protuberance (21), with a circular cross section, centred on the third axis (3), forming an integral part of the support (4) and engaged in a circular opening (22), of identical radius, provided in the rear cover piece (2b), the circular cylindrical protuberance (21) is pierced right through with an aperture (23), and the axis of articulation (16) of the front cuff (2a) on the lower shell (1) is embodied by a stud (20) which extends through the aperture (23) of the protuberance (21). <IMAGE>
