Such an installation comprises a source of energy (110), a plurality of individual energy consumer stations (200), and a closed distribution circuit supplying the individual stations with energy produced by the source. According to the invention, the closed distribution circuit includes a single common loop (120) in which a heat transfer fluid flows at a constant flow rate, and the individual stations comprise a primary circuit connected to the common loop so as to be supplied by the latter at constant flow rate, and means for connecting this primary circuit to a first individual loop providing the heating of radiators and/or to a second individual loop providing the heating of domestic hot water. It is thus possible to provide, for metering the energy consumed, means (330) for measuring the drop in temperature between upstream (Tn) and downstream (Tn+1) of each individual station, and computation means (310) for determining, on the basis of this measurement, the amount of energy consumed by the corresponding individual station, this determination essentially being independent of the flow rate of heat transfer fluid flowing into each individual station. <IMAGE>
