PURPOSE:To reduce the connection time and to decrease the consumption of a battery by selecting the reception mode into a consecutive pause operation mode in the absence of an incoming call while in the normal incoming cal wait state in which the power supply of a slave set is charged by a charge power supply section of a master set, and selecting the reception mode having an incoming call to the continuous reception operating mode. CONSTITUTION:When a slave set 2 is connected to a master set 1 and a battery of the slave set 2 is charged by a charge power supply section 15 of the master set 1, the output of an incoming call detection section 14 remains at an H level in the absence of an incoming call to the master set 1, and an incoming control detection section 244 outputs an H signal to a reception mode deciding section 246. When a call comes to the master set 1, the incoming call detection section 14 detects it to bring the level of control terminals 41, 42 to an L level. The section 246 brings the reception mode to the consecutive pause operating mode when the output of a charge detection section 245 is at an H and the output of the section 244 is at an H and selects the reception mode into the consecutive reception mode when the output of the section 245 is at an H and an output of the section 244 is at an L. |
