摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion and wear resistances of a carbon-contg. highly aluminous firebrick contg. an alumina-based refractory material as aggregate by forming the aggregate with coarse grains satisfying prescribed conditions. CONSTITUTION:This carbon-contg. highly aluminous firebrick contains an alumina-based refractory material as aggregate, 20-80% of the aggregate is composed of coarse grains of 6-50mm grain size and the surface of the coarse- grained aggregate is previously coated with phenol resin.
