A movable elevator platform (1) for a motor vehicle includes a lower horizontal frame (2) intended to run along the ground and equipped with retractable movement means (30), an upper horizontal chassis (3) provided with shoes (5) intended to come into engagement with the subframe (substructure) of a motor vehicle, elements (10) for connection between this chassis and this frame, and an operating thrust cylinder (15) designed to act on the height of the upper chassis with respect to the lower frame. The movement means include a plurality of rolling members in permanent contact with the ground, each of which is articulated at a middle portion to an overall horizontal lever articulated at one end to the lower frame and the other, free, end of which is equipped with a bearing surface intended to receive at least part of the weight of the upper chassis in the lowered configuration of the latter, thus giving rise to the lifting of the frame. <IMAGE>
