PURPOSE:To keep constant the mean brightness of the additional data part and make the mosaic pattern invisible by synthesizing the addition data such as the setting conditions for an ultrasonic diagnostic image while the brightness is inverted for each field of video signal. CONSTITUTION:A synthesizing part 3 is composed of switching circuits 3-1, 3-2, and additional data is, as it is, inserted for ex. into the top part of an ODD field for ultrasonic diagnostic image signal, while the data with the brightness inverted by an inverting circuit 2 for the additional data is inserted into the top part of an EVEN field. This inverting circuit 2 inverts the polarity of the additional data, i.e., the brightness, while a synch. signal generating circuit 1 generates various control signals (ODD/EVEN) necessary for producing video signals such as an additional data write signal and a synch. signal A synch. signal adding circuit 5 adds synch. signals to the analog image signal and produces video signals. |
