PURPOSE:To facilitate continuous operation of a truck which is magnetically floated and made to travel on a track by a method wherein a battery in the truck is charged by the generated power of a solar cell attached to the end part of the traveling direction of the truck and a light is applied from the outside of the straight part of the track along the direction in parallel with the truck. CONSTITUTION:A floating truck 1 is made to travel on a track which is not shown in the figure. A solar cell 6 is attached to the end part of the travelling direction of the truck 1 and a battery 3 is charged by a generated power through a charging circuit 7 in the truck. A magnetic levitation apparatus 2 is driven by the output of the battery 3 and the truck 1 is floated and made to travel on the track. A light projector 8 is provided at the straight part of the track and outside the track. A light is applied in parallel with the track to drive the solar cell. With this constitution, the power supply from an external source is not necessary and the continuous operation of the truck can be performed in a non-contact state. |
