PURPOSE:To make smaller a hole to be bored in a headbone of a body inspected, by making the effective area due to a plurality of vibrator elements, which are arranged at the foremost face of an ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving part, approx. the same as the section of the foremost face, and by specifying the length and max. diameter of the ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving part. CONSTITUTION:In vibrator elements 8, 8,... arranged at the foremost face of an ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving part 2, the length in the form of strip is extended full within the width of, for ex., circular profile at the foremost face, and the effective area for the ultrasonic wave transmitted/received waves due to this extension is made approx. the same as the section area at the foremost. Therein the max. diameter B of the ultrasonic transmitting/receiving part 2 shall be below 11mm, and the length lof rod-shaped ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving part 2 be no less than 25mm. This permits a hole bores, for ex., in a headbone of a body inspected to dimension less than in any conventional arrangement. Further in case removable fitting of a piecing metal 11 is made, which is to guide insertion of a held needle 10 for living inspection of a body inspected 4, the needle 10 can be inserted in the brain under guidance in intersecting at a shallow angle to the center shaft 12. |
