The vehicle seat with safety belt fixing points, has rails (2) allowing the seat to slide longitudinally w.r.t. guide rails fixed to the vehicle. At least one of the seat rails (2), which are pref. of light metal alloy, is fixed to the rear of the seat frame (1) via an intermediate element (10). The intermediate element has at least two hook-like sectins (13), both extending towards the seat rail but facing in opposite directions, which interlock with sections (6) of the seat rail. USE/ADVANTAGE - Stronger fixture permits use of alloy rails for vehicle seat adjustment system.
