The first panel has a blind hole running parallel to the plane of its panel and the second panel has a through hole, on the same axis as the blind hole, and running perpendicular to the plane of its panel. The connection device has a threaded section with a sawtoothed type thread (13) which can be screwed into the blind hole, a threadless fitting section (12) in the region of the through hole and a flat head (11) which can be let into the through hole, as an end stop. To avoid the through hole sinking into the second panel, it is provided that the fitting section changes into a flat head which is formed from at least two cylindrical sections (20, 22), increasing in diameter in steps, the transition regions from the fitting section to the first cylindrical section and between the cylindrical sections being designed in the form of truncated cones (21, 23, 24). The flat head, designed in this manner, is pulled into the through hole of the second panel when the connection device is screwed into the blind hole of the first panel, without having to worry about over-rotation of the connection device in this situation. <IMAGE> |
